Customer Reviews: 0 of 0 found this review helpful: Barely lightened my two small scars, 2008-06-24 I find it hard to believe that this would do tatoos as I have two small scars on one knee and it didn't do much to them. The scars are a couple months old but I still thought it would do more than it did. I may have lightened them a bit but not a noticeable amount. I'll try it again to see but so far...it's a dud. It's a shame, I had high hopes for this due to the great reviews. 2 of 2 found this review helpful: It may take a few times, 2008-05-31 Well it did make my face peel. My son said my freckles look lighter. I think so too, but just a shade. Some of the darker blemish scars didnt lighten as much as I would have liked. I think It may take a few times on pinpoint areas to have the effect that I want. I just cant stay in the house while my face peels week after week but a few small areas wont be noticed like my whole face. Also I was disapointed that new acne popped up on freshly peeled skin and made new spots right away. But I think I can get down a system with meds and light pinpoint peels that will work. Since I got so much peel for the money i am not afraid that it will break the bank to stick with it. It's funny that my friend paid over $100 for just one peel at a doc office and has to save to go back for all the peels she will need to get where she wants to be!!! And I know she will get new acne just like me to mess it up, but wont have the peel at home to spot treat!!!! 3 of 3 found this review helpful: This Product Works:), 2008-05-08 This product helped with my old acne scars and has helped with preventing new acne. This TCA Chemical Facial peel 20% has help me Big Time. My scars are fading quickly. People that see me notice that my face looks healthy. If you are looking for results try this product you can have a better looking face for less than a tank of gas you have nothing to lose the product and company is great:) If you are of a darker skin tone it works. AS LONG AS IT IS WORKING I WILL KEEP BUYING 10 of 10 found this review helpful: As good as the dermatologist for hundreds less!, 2008-02-12 Okay, about five months ago I went to my dermatologist for my first chemical peel. I'm getting in my late thirties and fair skinned, so the chemical peel was recommended as a way to rejuvenate my skin. It wasn't a comfortable experience, but it wasn't unbearable either. The results of that in-office peel were good: clearer skin, less wrinkles, less blotchiness, etc. I was hooked, but the cost of doing this at the dermatologist was more than $100 a visit. Keep in mind there's a "technician" that actually does this procedure, and in discussion with her she has a high school diploma and "ON THE JOB" training. So I discovered this source for the same chemical peel product they essentially used in the office. I'm working on my PhD so I figured if the "technician" could handle doing this with a high school diploma and practice, so could I. I've just finished my first self-administered chemical peel using the product and the experience was identical to that in the dermatologist's office. It's peeling like a sunburn and the new skin is fresh and rosy. It'll look good in about a week or so. It's SO easy to do at home after a shower. Following the directions was uncomplicated and straight-forward. And to think I'll probably get six to eight peels out of this bottle, if not many more, for a fraction of the price the dermatologist charges for his "technician" to do what I can easily do in my own bath!
